Good nutrition is always important – especially getting minerals like iron and zinc. Read here and find out three herbal remedies that fight hair loss!

The best herbal remedies that fight hair loss

Now and then you may be in deficit of iron, for example. This is a common cause of hair loss. Other times it can be due to changes in metabolism, diseases or disorders such as hypothyroidism, hereditary, or just the time – all these factors make it difficult to maintain a mane of thick, beautiful hair. And you need to take them all into account when looking for a solution.

But can herbal treatments really help? Of course, we present them here as supplements – they can be useful, but they are not going to make your hair grow thicker, by itself. What they do is stimulate and nourish the hair follicles. They can also treat and repair the hair, which gives a lot of benefits. It’s worth a shot, so take note of the following.

1. Rosemary and nettle cream

Coniferous flower

This treatment is simply amazing. It is a classic remedy that has been used for years to limit hair loss in men – stinging nettle root blocks the production of the hormone known as DHT, which is responsible for male pattern baldness. How do you make this cream? It’s really simple. All you have to do is collect some stinging nettle root and two sprigs of rosemary and boil it in two cups of water. After brewing this mixture, let it cool, then apply the liquid in wet hair using a gentle massage before rinsing with warm water.

2. Horseradish and geranium treatment

Does this combination surprise you? Well, but it’s very useful. Its effectiveness is primarily due to the fact that horsetail grass contains cysteine, selenium and silica, all of which strengthen hair and promote its growth. When combined with geranium, it further nourishes the hair follicles and produces new hair. To do this, all you need is to boil a liter of water and add 7 tablespoons of dried horseradish grass with 5 geranium leaves. So easy. Allow the mixture to cool before using in damp hair. Use a strong massage and do not rinse – do not use the hair dryer and let it air dry instead. If you do this three times a week, you will start to see results.

3. Apple cider vinegar and sage tea

Aeblecidereddike

This is the third herbal treatment you should try. Apple cider vinegar contains sulfur, which is an important component of healthy hair. When combined with the powers of sage, it nourishes the scalp and stimulates the growth of new hair. Simply make a tea using three tablespoons of dried sage with two cups of boiling water. Let it stand and add half a cup of apple cider vinegar. Again, just massage this mixture into damp hair, then rinse with warm water before regular washing. And don’t worry – your hair will not smell of vinegar. On the contrary, your hair will shine and look much more beautiful.
