  • Transparent tape or glue
  • Small LED lamps (preferably without cable)

Procedure (to clothe the angel)

  1. Take the wax paper and trace the outside of the cup: Lean the cup sideways and mark the edges while tracing it. You will get a bent shape that fits in the cup.
  2. Cut the template. Make sure you do not cut the exact traced line, but approx. one and a half inches from the line.
  3. Color the wax paper the color you want.
  4. Fold the paper like an accordion. This will give your angel volume.
  5. Once the paper is folded, cut out the geometric shapes. As many as you want.
  6. Open the paper and complete the decoration. Use to detail the edges and the various decorations. The idea is to mimic the pattern of a fabric.

Procedure (for the wings and the angel’s face)

  1. Take another sheet of wax paper and draw the angel’s face. Make it as detailed as you want, or give it a minimalist style. Do not be afraid to choose the second option if you did the previous step very elaborately.
  2. Mark the edges with the marker as well as all parts of the face so we can see everything we have drawn.
  3. Color it the color you want.
  4. Repeat this step to decorate the wings.
  5. Stick each piece to the cup with tape or with a few drops of glue. Place the LED lights under the cup so that the angel shines.

Now you have a beautiful decoration to place in any special corner of your home. It should be pointed out that these decorations do not necessarily have to be saved for Christmas. It all depends on what style you give it.
